A house in England built in the 1930s gets renovated by adding a new kitchen and dining area that suits a modern family of five. The architect, Kieran Hawkins wanted to keep the old 1930s flavor of the home, since the home is in a conservation area. Hawkins also developed her idea for the home additions by taking into account the view from the garden as well as the windows and doors. The result is a mixture of old, from the 1930s, and new home construction styles.
