Blooming Tiger Lilies

Last Modified November 14, 2016 By Staff Writer

Tiger lillies bloom well into the summer and come back often. Tiger lillies come from China and Japan and have incredibly bright and beautiful colors. Their orange blooms stand out in the garden. They are about 5 inches in diameter and have large down-facing flowers. Lillies need cool soil, six to eight hours of sun per day, and plenty of room to grow. If you cut them when the buds are just about to open you can have long lasting lillies in your vase at home!
