Carl Hansen & Son Brings Back Ole Wanscher’s Beak Chair

Carl Hansen & sons has revived an old chair design known as the Beak Chair, designed by Ole Wanscher in 1951. This chair is refereed to as the Beak Chair due to the floating armrests tapered in a shape similar to that of a bird’s beak. The chair exhibits curved edges and seamless joints with exposed cover caps that resemble a bird’s eye. Despite being 66 years old this chair is modern, elegant and contemporary.
