Changing up styles mid-design isn’t always easy but in this South Carolina home, the designer worked with owners to spruce up the stark color of Shaker style to a more classic look. The kitchen cabinets were changed from solid white to a soft overlay with trim and a glaze to add depth. Appliances were covered with doors to match the cabinets for a seamless look. The ceiling is recessed which gives it an old world feel and the owners chose custom paint to finish the classic but warm look.
