Deadheading Lilies: How To Deadhead A Lily Plant

Lilies are a beautiful plant, and in order to properly maintain them, it’s essential to learn how to deadhead them. Deadheading is a term used to refer to the action of removing the spent flowers from the plant. While this may work for other flowering plants, deadheading a lily plant will not encourage more flowers to grow. It is still a good idea to practice this gardening action, however, to clean up the appearance of the flower.
