To make great DIY plant shelves look no further than IKEA. All you need is an IKEA FROSTA stool, a drill and hole saw kit, liquid nails adhesive, a jigsaw or circular saw, and self-adhesive furniture covers. Once you have your materials then your ready to start making your DIY plant shelves. The first step is to cut the seating in half using your jigsaw or circular saw. Next create a hole in the center of the two halves using the hole drill. Make sure to mark the center points for each shelf and that the hole you make is a little smaller than the circumference of the plant pot you want the shelf to hold. This ensures that your plant pot will not fall through. Now cut the IKEA FROSTA legs so that they are the same length as the semi circles you just made to create your brackets. Next use the liquid glue to attach each bracket to the backs of the semi circles and let them dry overnight. Finally, you can secure the brackets using nails or screws. Now your IKEA DIY plant shelves are ready to go.
