The eyelash leaved sage originates from Mexico and as such is able to thrive in hot, humid climates and can withstand both drought and frost conditions. Beginning in the early summer and lasting into the fall, the plant produces dazzling red blooms that are known to attract hummingbirds. Both low-maintenance and durable, eyelash leaved sages are ideal starter plants for rookie gardeners.
