How to Safely Use and Store a Generator

Generators are very important when it comes to surviving the cold winter months . With so many storms and natural disasters happening these days, A generator could be the thing that keeps your family safe. Generators basically provide you with electricity when otherwise the power is out. First things first, you must check the oil in your generator. You would do this just like you would do when checking your oil in your car. After checking the oil, make sure that there is gas to help fuel it. You also do this just like you would in your car or lawnmower. Check to make sure that everything is working and then just power on and began use. When you are done using it, remove all power extensions and let it run for one minute then press the off button. If possible try to run the gas out, so you will not have gas stored in the machine.
