How To: Thin Latex Paint

Latex paint is a great paint for most uses. It’s fast drying and easy to clean which puts it ahead of oil but it also tends to clump and become thick when applying it, creating an uneven surface. You can use water and household products to thin it on your own instead of using a commercial paint thinner. Mixing the right parts of water to paint is essential. You’ll need to be careful with amounts and also make sure to work in a ventilated area.
