The author built a rustic butcherblock table for about $250. Similar items sell for about $1,500 online. The author used the Numerar butcherblock and Karpalund from IKEA. The Numerar is now not available, but a similar one, Karlby, is. he author describes the method they used to finish the product. The author tested their methods on the underside of the table first, to make sure it would get a desirable result. Then they applied their methods to the top.
