Our pets are part of our family, so it’s important that we keep them away from dangers. One danger that we have to be careful of is plants. There are some plants that can be very toxic to animals. These might be beautiful on the outside, but are deadly when ingested. Some examples of these are azaleas, oleander and hyacinth. Ivy, elephant ear and morning glory are also part of this dangerous list. Make sure to check with your local nursery to make sure that what you plant will not be damaging. If it is, teach your animals (and small children) to stay away from it.
